An immortal born from an unlikely alliance...
Beautiful mythic Greek heiress Adrasteia 'Adri' Dionysios has roamed the world for millennia, taking her pleasure where she wanted. Until one night, when Fate drops a baby wrapped in fire into her arms. Motherhood is a formidable challenge, but so is figuring out the identity of a mystery man who makes her pulse race.
A vampyre’s obsession…
Seraphine 'Sera' Dionysios' origins are shrouded in mystery. Torn between a mother whose blood saved her life, and a man who now possesses her soul, the only thing Sera can still cling to is her heart.

One rule matters above all others: Always protect the portal…
When Evil comes to Adri and Sera’s hometown of Shadow Bridge, a place where the mortal human world ends and the supernatural realm starts, it’s up to them to stop a prophecy as old as time itself...or die trying.

So now, let me introduce you to my book boyfriend. Some hero interview stats:

Name: Rafe Harcourt – Bad boy, dangerous/paranormal hero
Age: Born in 1187, turned in 1216
Appearance: 6’3, black hair, brown eyes with flecks of whiskey and hazel
Occupation: Vampyre overlord, businessman
About you: Nat asked me to sell myself to you. Well, not my body, of course, but my personality. First off, I am obsessed with Séraphine Dionysios. The thought of caressing that alabaster skin, running my fingers through her fiery hair and drowning in those beautiful grey eyes… I won’t give up until the bull-headed woman realizes she’s mine, only mine. Every time I touch her, taste her lips and skin, she practically melts in my arms. Yet she keeps telling me she doesn’t want me. Women!

Am I the perfect book boyfriend? I’m a powerful vampyre overlord and a self-made man, with some help from my maker, Virgilio Manera, and I was mostly raised in Italy. I could seduce you, talk to you in the language of romance, and look into your eyes as though you’re the only woman in the world—but I only do that sort of thing with Séraphine. Don’t get me wrong though; I’m not a saint. Many see me as the ultimate bad boy and despise me for it. Who knows, I may even be evil incarnate…

That's Rafe for you. My co-writer, Zee Monodee, is offering her own hunky charmer, the mysterious good boy gone bad, Des (http://zeemonodee.blogspot.com).

And I'm not done yet! As a super special bonus I'm throwing in yet another novel at 99c - my paranormal romance, AN ETERNITY OF ROSES (Book 1 of The Valthreans). This is a standalone book with an HEA, but there's a major story arc that will progress throughout the series. For lovers of gothic fiction, the paranormal, history, suspense, and sweeping romance with rich narrative.

Two lovers separated by an evil curse.
A desperate quest through time.
A love that wants to beat all odds.
And all the while, deadly danger brews around a two-thousand-year-old secret society and the enemy that lives to decimate it.

"...‘Til the end of my life, I shall belong to you as your husband.”

That was the promise Adrian made to Emmaline. And then, he was gone forever...

It is 1807. Adrian Segrave, Viscount Bournemouthe, and Lady Emmaline Deramore are about to wed and British Society teems with excitement at this imminent love match. But Madeleine de Brandeville, a mysterious Frenchwoman, has her lustful and ambitious sights on the groom. When she sets her cruel plan in motion, she leaves devastation in her path.

Heartbroken, Emmaline embarks on an adventure she'd never imagined having. As the world changes and chaos brews, her fate becomes linked with the Valthreans, a group of immortals who must learn to face a deadly enemy that threatens their place in the human world. But all the while, there is one thing she wants more than any other—to get back her man.

When she finally finds her prize and the intense blue flame of desire burns once more, her worst nightmares are far from over and the toughest battle is yet to begin. Will love win the war in the end?

Busy bees and cover reveals - #Eternelles #SnippetSunday

Hello world!

This has been a busy week spreading the word about our new release, Inescapable.

“You won’t regret reading this series; you’ll regret missing it!”—Rebecca Royce, bestselling author of The Westervelt Wolves series.

First, Zee Monodee and I had a guest post with Nana Malone, where we had a blast writing about slow-cooked food and smokin' hot love scenes :). Do you like your sex frequent with little plot, or a slow-building chemistry that finally explodes into something scorching and sweet?

Second, we went on the award-winning Alicia and Roy Street's blog to talk about our experience as co-writers of the Eternelles series, featuring ancient women of power and therefore, the ultimate kick-ass heroines. We also discuss why and how we got inspired to write urban fantasy and paranormal romance.

Finally, we dropped to Rhonda Hopkins' crib on the web to discuss terms of endearment and how the heroines in our books react to being addressed with "darling", "beautiful", "honey", and such terms. Lots of people chimed in to say why they like/dislike being called "sweetie pie" and "sugar" by strangers. All make valid points and it's great to see comments written from different perspectives.

But today, we have something exciting to share!

The two prequels to our series, ADRASTEIA and SERAPHINE, are ready and available for download! Adrasteia is set in 1887, while Seraphine's time period is 1912. However, the actual Eternelles series unfolds in modern times. We thought these would be a great way for readers to decide whether they want to read more of this series. So far the two stories are free on Smashwords and Kobo (Barnes and Noble and iBookstore coming shortly) but we must price match on Amazon. If anyone could possibly help us by reporting a lower price on Amazon (using the links provided below), that would be great! We want all readers, regardless of their format preference, to have a copy of these prequels for free :).

So now, the cover reveal, blurb, and download links :)

First in line, ADRASTEIA, the prequel that, ideally, is read first:

Fans of J.R. Ward, Karen Marie Moning, Christine Feehan and Sam Cheever will enjoy this new series featuring a kick-ass mother-daughter duo, the men who love them, fast action, a different take on myths, and a formidable cast of characters.

How do you like the covers?

As a taster, here's an excerpt from "SERAPHINE" (If you want to read more, Zee will be posting a snippet from ADRASTEIA on her blog):

A looming shadow pulled her from the preoccupation with her thoughts. She looked up to find her path was blocked.
A large man stood before her—tall, imposing, solid. Although his face was beyond the reach of light, Sera felt a faint pang of recognition from that bold, decided stance. Dark hair, broad shoulders. Flashes of memory from the pub came to her—this man wore the same tweed jacket as the stranger.
He moved a little so the streetlight’s glow settled on the square, dark angles of his face. Handsome, wicked, intent—the features of a man set on a mission. Guilt pricked her for appreciating him as a red-blooded woman might.
“You are…” she gasped.
Bloody hell! This was no stranger but the same man she’d danced with last Christmas at the Sharwoods’ big do. Hundreds of London’s elite in a ballroom that must have matched the size of the Serpentine. She’d regretted that dance that pitted her so close to his unnerving perusal, but thankfully, it had been just one. She’d never seen him again, until now.
What was he doing here?
So that was why he’d kept looking at her back at the pub. He’d recognized her.
He didn’t say a word, just stared at her. Fear crept up her spine. Something felt wrong. The cold got brittle, and Sera dug her gloveless hands in her coat pockets and walked around him, hastening home, as if that would make him disappear. He let her pass, but she wouldn’t feel relief until she was safe in the house. Only a short way to go. She turned into the mews by their townhome; what used to be stables were now restored and built into apartments to the right. In some ways it wasn’t much different from the château they’d had in France before moving to England, or the estate in Hertfordshire where they’d spent a few years—except that this was London, of course, not so much a quaint and bucolic place, and one that many considered to be both the pleasure center and cesspool of Britain.
And there he appeared again, standing in the shadows ahead, waiting. How did he manage to get there? Had he gone all around the block this fast? Impossible.
He stepped toward her. Under the sliver of light, he looked like the Devil in his most tempting form.
“I’m pleased to see you, Séraphine. I’m Rafe. Rafe Harcourt,” he said, using her given name and playing with the syllables in the most decadent way. “Remember me?”
