Hello world!

It's that time again - the time for an amazing blog hop with amazing authors giving away amazing prizes! The Autumn Harvest Hop ... where this time we celebrate our love for the Fall, for all it's magnificent colors and glory. :)

What do you love about Autumn and Fall? What does it remind you of? What about reading? Do you think it's a good subject to read? Tell us your favorite Autumn stories! Well, we authors are ready to share our favorite Autumn stories and why we love snuggling in the cold.  *wink* Starting on Friday and ending on Nov 12th, over 200 Authors and Bloggers will share their favorite things about this beautiful season. Yes, we're celebrating the Autumn, dear readers. Hope you'll keep us company!

And while we do that, we are EACH doing a giveaway. Yep. There will be over 200 giveaways on each blog hosted by that Author or Blogger.

So, back to the gist of things...and what this blog hop is all about: The Autumn Harvest.

Here's my take...

Autumn brings Samhain, the end of summer, and the start of a new cycle. It is full of amazing hues and scents, such as the deep, bright orange of the leaves, and a house full of apples and cinnamon. For me, this is a season close to my heart as it brings me one of my favorite celebrations: Halloween :). I find this time of year very romantic. What about you? With the first gentle breezes, I imagine long walks in the country snuggling to a loved one (*wink), or reading a good book while savoring a glass of good red wine and some warm apple pie. Hmmmm... could it get any better? Although I'm romance reader, I do get comfortable reading a scary or suspenseful story or two more so these days - there's just something about it, right? - and totally love that vibe! I always reckon Autumn is the perfect backdrop for those kinds of reads :).

So tell me what you like most about Autumn, and don't forget to comment and enter the Rafflecopter giveaway, too!

Happy Autumn and happy reading!

If you love romance but enjoy the odd spooky story or two (without gore and dismemberment :)), you will enjoy Tales from the Mist:

TALES FROM THE MIST will take you on a journey into the dark world of the paranormal. These twelve stories vary in their degree of horror, yet all reach across the boundaries of their genres into the chilling realms of the macabre. Witches, ghosts, shape-shifters and vampire rats are some of the creatures that reign within these pages. Authors included are: Scott Nicholson, Rhonda Hopkins, Marty Young, Cate Dean, Tamara Ward, Meredith Bond, Catie Rhodes, Greg Carrico, Mitzi Flyte, Natalie G. Owens, *lizzie starr and Stacey Joy Netzel.

A mother makes a Faustian bargain for her son’s freedom. But can she truly meet the cost when his real prison demands payment of a different debt?

It’s hard to say what exactly would be my Go-To Autumn Romance book. When I think real hard about it, I would have to say it has a sexy, strong, determined male that when it comes to love is just lost. Then there has to be a woman who is usually in need of help or needs to know what love and family is. Together they heal each other and love turns out to be their greatest gift. I also love a happy ending at this time of year, usually where the epilogue has them starting their own family to love and cherish. Oh….and definitely HOT loving too!

I love the burst of colors! The fall earth tone colors are very festive and beautiful. I am lucky to live where you can see the seasons change. Unfortunately, at this moment I can’t recall where autumn was a major focus of a story. I love reading any time so the season doesn’t matter.
What a wonderful hop!

Thanks for the opportunity for both of us to share. Take care.

I love autumn with all the brilliant colors: oranges, yellows and reds of leaves. I love crisp, cool mornings where the sky is so blue it looks endless and the air is so fresh in your lungs. I love snuggling up in a warm throw on a cold autumn day with a good book. Of course, I love snuggling up with a good book about anytime of the year. I love Thanksgiving because it is a time to remember all the many blessings in my life and express thanks. I love baking spicy pumpkin pies with dollops of cream.

I like stories of the unexpected. I also love the steamy passion but I hate mentioning favorite authors because the list is long. I appreciate the many styles authors use to weave stories of mystery, love, intrigue, preternatural and inspiration. I love reading because I can go anywhere, any time in my mind and imagine indescribable things.

Thank you for this contest and the opportunity to be introduced to new authors.
