Hello world!

Guess what? I've been tagged in the The Next Big Thing Blog Hop! Thank you to the fab Rhonda Hopkins

So here are my ten interview questions answered for The Next Big Thing:

What is the working title of your book?

An Eternity of Roses: The Valthreans, Book 1. Check the cover made by Zee Monodee. Isn't it pretty? :)

Where did the idea come from for the book?

I'm a big fan of the series, "Highlander" (and I just gave away how old I am :)), as well as an avid romance

reader, especially historical romance and romantic suspense. With this book idea I got to use all my "loves"

and have fun doing it!

What genre does your book fall under?

Paranormal/fantasy romance.

Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?

This was so much fun! Chris Hemsworth (Thor) is cast as Adrian, the Viscount Bournemouth, while a young,

exotic Monica Bellucci (Italian supermodel) is perfect as Lady Emmaline Deramore. Marcia Cross

(Desperate Housewives) shines as the evil Madeleine de Brandeville, while the handsome, mysterious Max

(or Massimiliano Damiani in full) is played by a very brooding Richard Armitage (Robin Hood) with longish

hair. The talented Ben Kingsley holds his own as the terrifying St. Giles.

What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?

A love that beats all odds... including time itself.

Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?

How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

I think it took me a while, about 6 months, but the problem with this book is that I just wrote it without

plotting it. Because of this it took 8 rewrites to whip it up to shape. So you can safely guess I will be plotting

my stories well beforehand in the future :).

What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?

It's a series with immortals, so perhaps J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series would be a similar

concept - even though I'd still consider them different.

Who or What inspired you to write this book?

As I said above, the Highlander series (and my infatuation with Adrian Paul, lol) and my love of romance.

What else about your book might pique the reader’s interest?

If you are a fan of fantasy, mystery and romance, you will like this book. Lovers of the gothic, tortured

heroes, strong heroines, and the pure old-fashioned fairy-tale vibe will also enjoy it. I have posted a good-

sized excerpt herewhich I hope will be enough to whet your appetite :).

And here's the short blurb...

Two lovers separated by an evil curse...
One woman's desperate quest through time...
A love that beats all odds...

And all the while, deadly danger brews around a two thousand year old secret society and the enemy that lives to decimate it...

Thanks for stopping by!
