Throughout history, women have been a muse and inspiration in many artistic endeavors. We are all well acquainted with Da Vinci's Mona Lisa and Botticelli's Venus and how much art historians have strived to decipher the enigmatic message of these works from the great masters. However, both artists of great and lesser renown have left a much bigger legacy than many could ever imagine -- from their depictions of aristocratic pride, to mythological figures, to luscious temptresses, to religious icons or apple cheeked peasant girls, artists have always paid homage to the female in all its possible representations. This video looks at the beauty of women from the eyes of the painters and sculptors throughout the ages - and in my opinion the images convey not merely outer beauty, but also an inner spirit which endures over time. I hope you enjoy watching this video as much as I did and that as women we will forever fight to live up to this image :-)
